Chad has more than a decade of experience advising corporate and individual clients in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation. His experience spans strategic litigation consulting, arbitration, trials and litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts.

Mr. Harlan began his career advocating on behalf of creditors of the Bernard Madoff bankruptcy estate before associating himself with some of New York’s top law firms and financial institutions. He has served as lead trial counsel and a department head at several prominent litigation boutiques. As lead trial counsel, he has been recognized by the New York Daily News and New York Law Journal for his role in high-profile trial and appellate matters. Recognizing a need for attorneys proficient in the business of law, Mr. Harlan supplemented his JD with an MBA before founding Timmins Harlan. Before founding Timmins Harlan, he gained real-world business experience as a quantitative analyst on Wall Street, underwriting hundreds of millions of dollars in investments for two of the world’s largest litigation finance firms. An expert in the fields of litigation and specialty finance, he is among a handful of litigators capable of substantiating legal analysis with complex financial and statistical modeling.
